UC Cafe​ -135 Rudolf Street, Sliema.
A cafe which doubles as a bakery. Authentic Sicilian food, coffee, treats and excellent wines.

 

Dolci Peccati 268, Tower Road, Sliema.

Serves an amazing breakfast, along with ice-creams, pancakes, coffees, brioche amarena, cannolo siciliano, babà and more great Italian treats.

La Crema Siciliana - 26 Balluta Building Main Street, St. Julian's.

Artisinal Sicilian cafe renowned for its great coffee and top-notch deserts. 

Maypole bakery - Dingli Street, Sliema.

Maltese bakery serving affordable sandwiches, pastries and coffees on the go.

Frensh - 37 Pjazza Balluta Triq il-Kbira, St. Julian's.

French bakery serving traditional baguettes and pastries.


Georgio's Cafeteria -17, Tigne Seafront, Sliema. Established in 1987 and one of the local's favourite. Popular for hot chocolate, pastizzi, English and continental breakfast.

Outdoor seating with a nice view. Vast breakfast menu varying from eggs(any way you want them) to juices and pastries.

A must for a fine breakfast, freshly baked pastries, creatively crafted sandwiches, homemade pies, salads and more.

The pastry park - 15, Ghar il-Lembi Street, Sliema.

Ta' Kris - 80 Fawwara Lane, Sliema.

Good food, warm atmosphere and you get the feeling that you are at your Nanna's house.

Il-Malti - 96, The Strand, Sliema.

Cosy place with good Maltese cuisine. Offers a vast range of Maltese food in the heart of Sliema.

Il-Merill - St Vincent Alley, Sliema.

Small family-run tavern specialising in Maltese and continental food.

Gululu - 133, Spinola Bay – St. Julians.

Charming atmosphere overlooking Spinola bay.
They have a varied menu offering all the classic dishes.

La Maltija Restaurant - 1, Church Street, Paceville.

The Chef is renowned for being the personal chef of the former President of Malta, as well as Mrs Margaret Thatcher, former Prime Minister of Great Britain.
They offer traditional Maltese food focusing on fish.

Marleys - 14 Xatt il-Palm Bahar ic-Caghaq.

Another local's favourite specialising in Rabbit and gravy. They serve appetizers and also have an outdoor area. Definitely worth a visit.

United restaurant - Triq IL-Kbira, L-Imġarr.

Imgarr is the capital of Maltese food. This is where the locals go to eat, decent prices and big portions. It is also a stone throw's away from Gnejna bay.

il-Barri Restaurant -Triq IL-Kbira, L-Imġarr.

Another local's favourite. Offering all the Maltese specialities, rabbit, snails, quail, horse meat, bigilla and bread with oil.

Djar il-Bniet - Main Street, Ħad-Dingli.
Family-run restaurant using their own produce from the farm. They also have a shop selling local products that are great for souvenirs. It is located a few minutes walk from the majestic Dingli cliffs.

Serkin / Crystal palace - Triq San Pawl, Ir-Rabat.

Traditional Maltese pastizzi claiming to be the best in Malta!

Ta’ Marija Restaurant - 71, Consitution street, Mosta.

Family-run restaurant with quality food. It is located very close to the Mosta Dome that at one point had the third largest unsupported dome in the world.

Nenu the Artisan Baker 

- 143, St Dominic Street, Valletta.
- 4, Triq il-Kbira, L-Imġarr.
Nenu offers traditional Maltese food focusing on baking. They have an extensive menu and it's definitely worth visiting. Make sure to order the traditional ftira!

Laidback beach bar and grill serving Mediterranean cuisine and ice cold beers while enjoying spectacular views of St. Julian's and Spinola Bay. Live music every Thursday.

Surfside - Tower road, Sliema.

Beach bar, restaurant and sports bar located at Sliema front. Big menu varying from burgers, pasta, pizzas, wraps, ribs and cocktails.

 

The Black Sheep drink & dine - 72, the strand, Sliema.

Amazing food and drinks in a fun atmosphere focusing on cocktails and beers. 


Hole in the wall - 31, High Street, Sliema.

The Hole has been around for nearly 100 years it's not just a bar but an entertainment hub hosting live musicians, art exhibitions, film-nights, talks and anything cultural.

 

Black Gold - Triq ix-Xatt, Sliema.

Popular bar with locals and tourists wanting to enjoy some drinks and food. They regularly have live music.

The Brew Grill & Brewery - 74, The Strand, Sliema.

Craft brewers producing a variety of freshly in-house brewed beers. They also serve food that perfectly compliments their beers and cocktails.

Hammett's Gastro Bar - 33/34 Tigne Seafront, Sliema.

HGB offers gourmet cocktail using fresh fruit, homemade syrups and infusions while also offering an amazing culinary experience. 

Electro lobster Project- 35 High street Ballutta, Sliema.

This bar/club/restaurant has outside seating in a lovely spot overlooking Balluta Bay. Good food and even better drinks.

Conscious Reggae bar overlooking Spinola bay.
Topnotch cocktails. Make sure to try the strawberry Mohito!

Amigo’s - DIngli Street, Sliema.

Another good Mexican restaurant also offering a quality pizza.

 

Sea Salt - 43, Triq Rodolfu, Sliema.

Gourmet takeaway offering salads, burgers, seafood, fresh fish and homemade pasta.

Vecchia Napoli - Tower road, Sliema.

One of the best places to eat traditional Italian pizza. The Calzone Capo di Monte is totally worth the visit.

 

Tex Mex American Bar & Grill - 89, The Strand, Sliema.

For meat lovers, this restaurant shouldn't be missed. Offering American style food and big portions. 

Kuya Asian Pub - 2 Triq Ross, St. Julian's.

An innovative blend of Asian inspiration and local produce. A menu full of flavours with plenty of craft beers to compliment the food.


Peppino's - St.George's Road, St. Julian's.

Overlooking the beautiful Spinola bay Peppino's offers mouthwatering seafood and Mediterranean food.

Wigi's kitchen - Main Street Balluta Bay, St. Julian's.
A little family-run restaurant named after Louis, set in the heart of the popular Balluta Bay, overlooking the water as located just above street level. They offer fresh ideas and recipes complementing the daily change of the lunch & dinner menu.

Sotto Zero, the Gelato factory - The Strand, Sliema

Has to be my favourite Italian ice cream out there.
They have regular ice creams, Vegan and sugar-free so everyone should be satisfied!

Tiffany's Bistro - 18A, Tigne Seafront, Sliema.

Has some of the best reviews around. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner Tiffany's has a wide menu with lots of classics that tick all the boxes.

Bianco's - St. George's Road, St.Julian's.

Loved by the locals. Offers solid and tasty Mediterranean Cuisine, with a twist of Maltese influence. 

Streat Whisky & Bistro- Strait Street, Valletta.

Streat is located on 2 streets, Strait Street the former red-light district and Old theatre street, overlooking the beautiful St.George's Square. They serve amazing coffees, tasty food and top-notch cocktails. Make sure to visit once in Valletta!

Sapori Siciliani - Triq in-Naxxar, San Gwann.

Sicilian sweet shop serving some of the best cannoli.
In the summer months, they also sell 5 flavours of Granita. They are epic in the summer heat. Go and enjoy.

Avotaco - Triq l-Abate Rigord, Ta' Xbiex.

Tasty Mexican food and ice-cold beers.

Mint - 30/39 Luzio Junction/ Stella Maris Street Sliema.
Friendly seafront cafe offering fresh juices, salads, pastries, sweets, they got it all. They have a lovely fresh display of what you can order so it's easy to choose. Various vegan options.


Pure - Triq il-Kbira, Sliema.
Pure offer raw cold-pressed juices, smoothies, raw desserts, nut milks and healthy food. They also specialize in juice cleanses.


Foam and Fork - Triq San Gorg, Il Gzira

Big tasty menu including pancakes, burgers, salads, fresh juices and much more.

Naar
 - 1 Triq Censu Tabone, Balluta bay, St. Julian's
Amazing outdoor location overlooking Ballutta bay. They have a dedicated vegan and vegetarian menu.

Great place to wine and dine.

Dr. Juice - Bisazza Street, Sliema.
The doctor focuses mainly on juices and smoothies but they have been investing a lot on their food offerings with plenty of vegan options.


Balance Bowl - 182 Triq Ix-Xatt, Gzira.

Dedicated vegan and vegetarian restaurant offering unlimited nutrition bar, tasty homemade food and space to chill, read & study. 
 

Peas & Love - Triq L-Imhallef Paolo Debono, L-Imsida.
Peas and Love specialize in vegan & vegetarian food for foodies. Not to be missed.

Falafel Street - Bisazza Street, Sliema / Ta Xbieb / Valletta

Veccja - Trejqet il-Veccja, San Pawl il-Baħar.

Il-Veccja Vegan Cafe/Wine bar is the new kid on the block.  They offer exquisite Vegan platters and Organic Fair-trade Vegan wines.
